The Young Masters Art Prize 2012 – Part 2 featured the 26 shortlisted artists and three Guest Artists; Ali Assaf, Lluis Barba and Yinka Shonibare, MBE.  The Prize is awarded to an artist who shows skill, invention and innovation in relation to art history and the work of the Old Masters.  The Prize was awarded to photographer Lottie Davies, with additional runners-up prizes awarded to Mia Brownell, Wieland Payer, Brad Woodfin and Georgia Dodson.

The first part of the Young Masters Art Prize featured all 26 of the shortlisted artists alongside Guest Artist Ali Assaf.  The exhibition featured the contemporary works hung alongside Old Master paintings and drawings from the collection held by Sphinx Fine Art. The exhibition was curated around the art historical genres of Allegorical and History painting, Landscape, Portrait, Still Life and Animal.
